Last week I had the chance to present at two events held in Auckland. TechEd 2014 New Zealand and the Auckland Code Camp. The 3 sessions that I presented focused on Azure and SharePoint 2013 in general. During both the events, I had the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of audiences and was able to get some good discussions around Azure and how a SharePoint 2013 workload fits within the cloud architecture.
The focus involved mainly the following points:
1. Why Azure?
2. Why do SharePoint on Azure?
3. What keeps it ticking?
4. Lessons Learnt.
The presentation slides have been uploaded over at http://www.slideshare.net/IntergenNZ/teched-nz-2014-azure-and-sharepoint
Inspite of a bit of technical difficulties with the recording at the beginning of my presentation , I had a blast during TechEd and would like to thank my track owners and specifically https://twitter.com/nzregs for organizing a brilliant speaker experience especially for a first time TechEd speaker such as me.
